Nursery Group - 3 - 4 Years Rooms

The 3-4 year group is the final room to go into at nursery.  It is led by Julie with the assistance of Sam and Katy.  We have a Foundation Stage curriculum to follow in six areas of learning which are:

  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development
  • Communication Language and Literacy
  • Mathematical Development
  • Knowledge and Understanding of the World
  • Creative Development
  • Physical Development

We provide lots of stimulating and fun activities in all these areas of learning, which is in a safe and secure environment.  We also realise each child is different and therefore we provide activities to cater for their individual needs to enable them to develop to their full potential.

 

It is here in particular that we seek to develop interests through gentle exposure to areas such as French & Music.


The visits from and to  our Reception teacher ensure that children are prepared for moving on whether it be the Pre Prep at Glebe House or another setting.

 

A child is like a seed, it needs to be nurtured to enable it to develop and grow.  If a child leaves nursery happy, confident and an independent individual, then we have done our job.  Hopefully they will flourish and bloom in their next step in life in school.
