Under 8s Girls Netball - Versus Taverham Away |
On Wednesday 21st November Glube U8s went to Taverham for a netball match. In the first quarter Taverham looked the stronger team with good strong passes.
Glebe settled down and the first net was scored by me. Taverham were
quick to equalise and the whistle blew at 1-1.
The second quarter was uneventful with no nets. At half time players
were changed and the third quarter began. Glebe got the ball quickly
down the court and after some strong passes from Jazmyn to Betsy them
to me, I put Glebe ahead with my second net. But despite great
defending from Emily, Taverham equalised.
We played really well in the last quarter and I scored another two
nets. The final whistle blew at Glebe four Taverham two. We all played
well and got an excellent result for our first match.
