| Under 13s Boys Rugby - Versus Beeston Home |

On a mild Autumn day Glebe House played Beeston at
home. I lost the toss and they chose to
receive. We started off well, tackling
and rucking over, but due to lack of defence, they drove through us and scored
an early try. This lessened our
confidence and they scored 5 more times due to too many of us being in the ruck
instead of in a defence line. At the end
of half time the score was 35-0 to them.
We came back onto the pitch with more determination and John kicked the ball up the pitch and Mickey caught it and passed it back to John P who scored, unluckily John did not get the conversion. They then kicked the ball and one of their props caught it and scored a try. The score for the second half was 14-5 to them.
The overall score was 49-5 to them. Well done everyone, I think we need to work more on sticking to our positions and our defence.
