On a sunny but cold day the U12s played against Gresham’s at home.  I won the toss and chose first push back.  We started off well, determined to win the game.  Catherine passed the ball to Lizzy and Lizzy had a go at goal but unfortunately the goalie saved it.  Gresham’s had a try at goal but Grace did an amazing save.  The whistle blew for half time.  The score was 0-0.

In the second half everyone was determined to score a goal.  Catherine dribbled the ball down to the goal; she passed it to Lizzy and Lizzy passed it to me.  I had a shot at goal but the goalie saved it.  Catherine got the ball and shot it into the goal and scored.  Gresham’s were tackling well and got the ball into the D.  Hope tackled and cleared it then Lizzy took it up and passed to Esme and Esme scored a fabulous goal.  Gresham’s took a centre pass which I intercepted and passed to Lizzy who scored a goal.  The shortly after that Gresham’s scored a goal but we reclaimed the ball and scored a goal which left the end score 4-1 to us.

Everyone played brilliantly and I think we worked really well as a team.
