Under 13s Boys Rugby - Versus South Lee Home |
|
On a calm and cloudy day, Glebe House played South Lee at
home. I won the toss and I choose to
kick off. We started well, tackling and
keeping our defence, but one of their props managed to break through our
defence and score a try. After that we
lost confidence and missed some important tackles, which enabled them to score
seven trys in the first half.
In the second half we came back onto the pitch with a bit
more confidence, but they continued to score easy trys. At this point we thought “right, that’s it!”,
and John P managed to break through their defence and Michael-Jack scored a
phenomenal try and John Pesci got the conversion.
The end score was 72-7 to them. Well done everyone, especially Andrew, who
was always in the rucks and also Sam for his brilliant runs and tackles. I think we need to work a bit more on our
tackling.
