Glebe House U10/11 V Beeston

It was a murky wet day, but we were not going to let that put us off winning. Beeston won the toss and choose to change ends. The game started slowly but soon I got a try. They were attacking hard but we defended well, but lost the rucks in the first half. Suddenly Alex Hodge made a break and nearly scored a try but Beeston were very quick catching him up and tackling him. Beeston then scored a try; the first half ended one all.

We came out to the second half determined to ruck better. Most of the play was in Beeston’s half. We almost scored a try but it was held up. Lewis made some good tackles and was attacking well. Morgan came on in the second half. With four minutes to go, we had a lineout, which we won. I scored a try from it. In the last minute Beeston made a dash for our line but despite us chasing hard they got their try as the whistle went to draw the game two tries each. Well played everyone.
