Wednesday 5th November 2008.

Team Captain: Thomas Playford

We lost the toss so they took the kick off but this didn’t matter as we were just as strong as they were.  They started off well but we kept them in their half and Josh managed to score a try in the first few minutes.  Tom Sowerby, Oliver Searle, Jack Harvey, Joshua Bray and I were keen tacklers. 

At half time Beeston were leading by 3 tries to 1. 

I told the team we need to keep our line and we swapped Rory for Connor.

In the second half the weather started to spray a bit but we were very keen to win and were a strong team.  Josh scored two excellent tries within four minutes.  Connor took an amazing pass from Rory and then he did a great pass to Ollie.

Tom, who did some dodging with the ball, managed to get away with our final try.

The final score was 20  20

I think we need to work harder on our rucking and mauling but well done to everyone! 

We are really looking forward to our next match next week.
