GLEBE  V  ST HUGHS AWAY

We arrived at St Hugh’s after a long drive the conditions were excellent.  The decision was made to play 3 thirds of 15 minutes each

The first third saw good play from both sides. Glebe were passing and tackling with conviction,  Patrick Webb scored a try and only just missed the conversion.  St Hugh’s came back very strongly and scored 3 tries but failed to convert any of them.

The second third we continued to play really well and John Futter scored a good try which was converted easily by Patrick Webb. St Hugh’s then scored 2 more tries and made one conversion.

The last third Glebe upped their game and didn’t give up at any point John Futter then scored another try and Patrick made the conversion  we tried everything however we could not stop St Hugh’s making one more try.

Well done, everyone played with total commitment and determination and it was a great match despite the score.
