Pre-prep and pupils in Div III & IV are taught by form teachers with specialist staff for older pupils. Pupils in Div V and beyond will follow the ISEB curriculum and will be examined in the summer term. Pupils in Years 6 and 7 will also undertake a project work to improve independent study, using applied mathematical skills to develop understanding on how mathematics can be used in real-life scenarios away from his classroom.

In March four older pupils represented the school in the regional finals of the UK Team mathematical challenge held at Cambridge Mathematical Sciences University. In the competition against many larger prep and state school that came a credible 22nd out of 32 teams. The event was aimed at challenging the mathematical gifted pupils. This involved not only having to solve “hard sums” they had to play investigational games that needed careful thought and strategic thinking.
