West Midland Children’s Theatre visited the school on
Thursday 15th November and performed The Firebird. It was very funny and the performers involved
lots of the children in the performance including Tom Sowerby who played a
grizzly bear and Bertie Stocks who played ‘Jetski’ who helped the handsome
prince on his mission to find the Firebird.
Anne Rich, Jazmyn Pesci and Jack Reed were ‘trees’ in the Enchanted Forest and Megan Westbury, Noemi Kila
and Jemima Bostrum all performed a whirlpool dance. Sammy Harrold made a very
good mermaid who pulled the prince out of the whirlpool. The children from Reception through to
Division four had a marvellous time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
