Carol Singing in King’s Lynn |
Carol singing in King’s Lynn on Saturday in aid of this year’s school charity, Tapping House Hospice, for whom we raised over £400 was the final event of a busy period that started with singing at Fakenham Racecourse, raising £364 for the Injured Jockeys Fund.
In between those events the children were invited to sing at the BREAK
charity’s carol service at St Peter’s church in Sherringham and at
Gorselands Residential Home in Hunstanton before our own carol service
at St Mary’s on the last day of term. John Crofts commented ‘Allison
Skipper, the choir mistress, has worked exceptionally hard and has
encouraged a large number of children to be involved and the quality of
this year’s service was better than ever with some excellent, confident
solos’.
