Friday 28th September
Children in the Pre-Prep were able to invite their Grandparents to come and work along side them for the morning. We had a fantastic response, and some Grandparents travelled from as far away as Cumbria.
The children were eager for them to join in our special Friday assembly
where they find out how many stars they have earned throughout the
week. Also Kirsty Brunt's Grandparents were there to see her awarded
Bertie the Bear for swimming without her armbands, a brilliant
achievement. They then followed their Grandchildren into their
classrooms for a variety of activities including maths games, playing
in the home corner, puzzles and reading stories. The morning ended with
a fish and chip lunch together in the dining hall. Both children and
adults had such a good time that we hope to repeat this again in the
summer, so keep an eye on the calendar!
