The children in Division one were lucky enough to visit The Town House Museum in Kings Lynn as part of their History topic looking at old and new toys. They had a busy morning looking at, handling and discussing toys dating back to the Victorian period.
They then visited the Victorian nursery and learnt how the toys belonging to the rich were very different to those belonging to the poor. The children played with pop guns, Jacob’s ladders, cup and ball, marbles and many more toys before finishing the morning with a parlour game involving pulling faces at each other which they found very amusing! It was a fantastic trip and the children and adults thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
