It is really hard to write a report for some matches, especially when winning seems to be so difficult.  I would like to be telling you about our amazing goals and how we had a fantastic win, but who cares about the score!  I think it is more important that you know about how we played.

Glebe U9's travelled to Beeston for our fourth hockey match of the season, hoping to keep up our good performance so far this season.  We played on astroturf and I won the toss and Beeston started.  They quickly got downfield and had a go at goal, but Bertie saved it and gave them a short corner.  We got it to the half way line, but Lewis got tackled.  Miles Doncaster got the ball back down our end for Beeston and shot from an amazingly hard angle to score their first goal.

Glebe U9's travelled to Taverham for our third hockey match of the season.  We were playing our first match on grass with a hard ball.  It was an uneven pitch and we had to go uphill for the first half.  There was no toss and Glebe started but Taverham quickly tackeld us and dribbled to the D.  They started passing the ball between  their players but one missed, and the ball went off.

On Wednesday 20th February we played Taverham away.  We lost the toss and they chose push back.  We started off well gaining most of the possession and scoring one brilliant goal by Freddie at the end of the half.
