Our setting, a few minutes walk from the town of Hunstanton and the glorious sandy beach at Old Hunstanton is one of our joys, and we take full advantage of it.
The coast is full of possibilities as an educational tool, for recreation or simply to play during boarding nights, benefiting from the sea air, wide open spaces and dunes.
Moving along the coast in both directions we are able to enjoy recreational facilities such as sailing at Snettisham and golf at Heacham Manor as well as the National Trust educational centre at Brancaster Staithe. Surrounded by agricultural land, we understand our rich farming history and appreciate where our food comes from.
Our wooded Forest School, under a mile from the school, offers a myriad of possibilities for all ages and, led by our qualified Forest School leader, the ethos of the movement is embraced by all staff to the benefit of the children through independence, challenge, thinking and practical skills.
Walking possibilities abound, whether it is the long distance Peddar’s Way, the coast or the woods of the Royal Estate at Sandringham, the terrain, views and seasons offer variety in abundance and several groups go out throughout the year with the whole school charity walk in February being a highlight.
